This event, organised by HIT, has six main conference themes – alcohol and young people, alcohol and health, alcohol and public safety, responsible alcohol industry, the role of governments, and alcohol and housing. As such, it aims to deliver a broad review of alcohol harm reduction and policy in the UK.

Harm Reduction 2009: IHRA's 20th International Conference

IHRA and the Conference Consortium are pleased to announce the latest in a long-running series of international harm reduction conferences. In April 2009, as the conference once again comes to Thailand, the theme will be “Harm Reduction and Human Rights”. These five-day events include high-profile keynote speakers, plenary sessions, symposia, training events, a film festival, poster presentations, and satellite meetings. They have become must attend events for the harm reduction community.
