As in previous years, Harm Reduction 2009: IHRA’s 20th International Conference will rely heavily on submitted abstracts in order to create an interesting, globally representative and broad programme. This year, we have received 900 abstracts online – around a fifth of which will be accepted for presentation (with further abstracts being accepted for ‘poster’ presentations).

The abstract submission deadline for Harm Reduction 2009 has now passed.

In order to assist delegates, the conference organisers created a short guide on how to develop and submit abstracts.

Now that the deadline has passed, all of the abstracts have been sent off for peer-review. The Executive Programme Committee will then meet in December 2008 to finalise the programme, and all authors will be notified of the outcome soon after.
