‘Harm Reduction 2009: IHRA’s 20th International Conference’ took place in April and was an enormous success. Despite a ‘state of emergency’ in Bangkok due to political disturbances, the conference brought together 1,000 delegates from 80 countries around the world - including many from Thailand and Asia. The four days were filled with sessions, presentations, meetings, events and workshops – discussing the latest developments in ‘Harm Reduction and Human Rights’ (the conference theme).
