In order to assist Harm Reduction International and the Conference Consortium, a select number of organisations have been invited to be ‘Supporting Organisations’ for Harm Reduction 2011. These organisations – chosen for their importance to harm reduction both internationally and in the host region and country – officially endorse the conference. Like the conference partners, they may also provide or facilitate essential financial support for the conference. However, Supporting Organisations are less actively involved in the day-to-day logistics and management of the event.
The Supporting Organisations for Harm Reduction 2011 are:
International Centre on Human Rights and Drug Policy
ACCES
International Centre for Science in Drug Policy
International Drug Policy Consortium
International Nursing Harm Reduction Network
WHO EMRO: World Health Organization; Regional Office for the Eastern Mediterranean
Reduisons les risques lies a l’usage de drogues (AFR)
The Centre for Research on Drugs and Health Behaviour
International HIV/AIDS Alliance
Sub-Saharan Africa Harm Reduction Network (SAHRN)
European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction (EMCDDA)
