Harm Reduction Academy

The first harm reduction academy was held in Liverpool, 2010. Building on its success the academy will again offer delegates the opportunity to undertake a course of study incorporating attendance at conference sessions and tutorials with the opportunity to earn recognised credits for continuing professional development. The academy is delivered in partnership with Harm Reduction International and the Conference Consortium, by Liverpool John Moores University and is supported by a core group of experienced tutors to ensure that participants receive support appropriate to their needs and enhance the learning opportunities presented.
International Harm Reduction Academy – Beirut 2011
This is the second year in the programme of CPD’s which started at the 2010 International Harm Reduction Conference in Liverpool – the next is to be held in Beirut in April 2011.
We are very pleased to launch the next phase of a series of linked CPD programmes in the field of Harm Reduction. The first CPD was validated during the last academic year and was delivered at the 2010 Harm Reduction International annual conference held in Liverpool in April 2010. We welcomed students from across the world and we were proud to see 24 students graduate with their awards. The next phase sees the introduction of the second CPD, which will be delivered alongside the first. Each CPD will be a single module programme and students may only register for one module/conference.
