The ‘13th International Conference on the Reduction of Drug Related Harm’ took place on 3rd – 7th March 2002 in the Slovenian capital of Ljubljana. The overall conference theme was “Social Changes: Lines of Inclusion and Diversity”, as Harm Reduction International and ‘The Sound of Reflection Foundation’ (the conference organisers) placed a special emphasis on the social changes which had already been achieved by harm reduction programmes around the world. The five day event was attended by over 1,000 delegates from around 50 countries.
