Oceania - Harm Reduction Policies
Pacific Island Countries and Territories (PICT) national policies do not currently include harm reduction. Australia and New Zealand, however, do include it in their national policies, as illustrated in the map and table below.
Although policy wording is not necessarily indicative of the implementation of effective harm reduction measures in a country, it does indicate some governmental commitment to tackling drug related harms and is therefore an important advocacy target.
