10 Chinese snooker players accused of match-fixing and betting

Ten Chinese snooker players have been accused of match-fixing. An independent panel will now look into the allegations based on the evidence found against them in a hearing that began on Monday. These players are accused of manipulating the game, approaching players for cheating, betting in snooker, fixing matches. China’s Liang Wenbo has been suspended by the World Professional Billiards and Snooker Association. 2021 Masters champion Yan Bingtao and UK Championship winner Jintong also face charges.
