7 players debut for Ireland in the first Test against Bangladesh

The one-off Test series between Bangladesh and Ireland began on Tuesday. On the first day, Ireland’s first innings collapsed for 214 runs. In reply, Bangladesh lost two wickets for 34 runs till stumps. Mominul Haque (12*) was at the crease. Before electing to bat after winning the toss, Harry Tector (50) was the only batsman to score a half-century. After 1348 days, 7 players made their debut in the match for Ireland, playing only the fourth Test as a team. This is his first Test in Bangladesh. Meanwhile, Bangladesh became the first team to play a match against all Test playing nations.
