Sunil Kumar won gold in the decathlon event of the Asian Under-20 Athletics. Sunil Kumar had to use the demanded pole to win the gold on Tuesday. Actually, South Korean Airlines did not allow Sunil to bring his personal pole. The Athletics Federation of India’ had requested the organizers in Korea to get Sunil the pole. In decathlon, he scored 7003 points in 10 events. He won the gold medal by performing better in 100 meter hurdle race, discus throw and javelin throw.
