Krafton, the developer of the popular battle royale game Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI), recently released a podcast discussing the highly anticipated BGMI 2.8 Update. The podcast featured well-known personalities in the BGMI community, such as Ghatak, Mamba, Snax, and Lolzz, who provided detailed information about the upcoming update.
One of the highlights of the update is the introduction of the zombie-themed Edge mode, which will be integrated into the expansive Miramar map. In this mode, players will encounter a giant zombie boss in the Aerolith Lab. If they manage to eliminate the boss, they will be rewarded with valuable loot, including two new powers that allow players to climb apartments and dash in the air. However, players should be cautious as there will also be other enemies present in the lab.
The update will introduce different types of zombies for players to face. The Berserker zombies are difficult to eliminate, but players have a chance to defeat them when they are in shield mode by hitting the red spot on their bodies. The Mutant Creeper zombie has the ability to jump and attack, making it challenging to eliminate. However, players can shoot its head when it jumps and stands in one position to take it down.

The BGMI 2.8 update update will also bring themed items, including the Mutation Gauntlets and Mutation Blade. Players can obtain these items by defeating zombies in the Aerolith Lab. Equipping the Mutation Gauntlets will grant players powerful melee attacks, while the Mutation Blade will provide a wide-range slashing melee attack. Both weapons deal substantial damage and cause greater stun to monsters.
Additionally, players will have the opportunity to use the Maglev Hoverboard, which can be found in the Aerolith Lab. This hoverboard has been enhanced to travel on both land and water, allowing players to quickly traverse the map. It also offers impressive maneuvers while in the air.
The BGMI A2 Royale Pass will also be more interesting in this update. Players will receive the upgradable UMP45 skin for free, eliminating the need to worry about upgradable items. Additionally, a 100-RP outfit will be included as a consumable suit.
The BGMI 2.8 Update promises exciting new features, including the zombie-themed Edge mode, new weapons, and the Maglev Hoverboard. Players can look forward to an enhanced gaming experience with these additions.
