IAS Nitika Pawar now deputy financial advisor BSF

Chandigarh | There will be a reshuffle in the posts of officers in the UT administration. IAS Nitika Pawar has been appointed to the Border Security Force (BSF) on deputation. Instructions have been issued from the ministry, in which they have been asked to be relieved soon. Nitika Pawar is currently posted as Secretary Social Welfare, Secretary Personal and many other posts in Chandigarh Administration. Nitika Pawar, a 2012 batch IAS officer, has been appointed as Deputy Financial Advisor (Deputy Secretary level) in PSBSF Chandigarh under the Ministry of Home Affairs, the ministry's instructions said. She will now be posted in BSF Chandigarh on deputation for three years under the Central Staffing Scheme.

Former CM Channi will appear before vigilance after seven days

Chandigarh | Former Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi was again called for questioning on Friday, but he did not turn up. He had sent an application to the Vigilance Bureau for exemption from appearance. Which has been accepted by Vigilance. The investigating officers of the Vigilance Bureau have given a week's time for further questioning. Now after seven days from Friday, Channi will appear before the investigating officers of Vigilance.
