Chelsea agree to make Pochettino the new manager, previously linked to Tottenham

London | English football club Chelsea have agreed to appoint Argentine Mauricio Pochettino as their new manager. Pochettino, 51, will join the team in the new season. Frank Lampard will remain Chelsea’s interim manager until the end of the season. Pochettino will be Chelsea’s sixth permanent manager in five years. Earlier, Pochettino had coached Espanyol, Southampton, Tottenham, PSG. Under his coaching, Tottenham reached the final of the Champions League in 2019.
