Haryana CM approves contracts and purchases worth Rs 620.88 crore

The recent meeting of the High Powered Purchase Committee (HPPC) and High Power Works Purchase Committee (HPWPC) chaired by CM Manohar Lal has approved the purchase and contract of about Rs 620.88 crore. This is a significant step towards improving the infrastructure and services in Haryana.
The negotiation with various bidders has resulted in a saving of about Rs 15.47 crore, which is a positive outcome for the state. This indicates that the committee is taking measures to ensure that the procurement and contracts are made at the best possible rates.
The meeting discussed 10 agenda items related to Irrigation, Haryana Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Limited (HVPNL), and Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (UHBVN) in the High Power Purchase Committee. Additionally, 4 agenda items of Public Works (Building and Roads) and Public Health Engineering Department were placed in the High Power Works Purchase Committee. All the agendas were approved, which is a positive sign for the state’s infrastructure development.
One of the key contracts approved in the meeting was related to the strengthening of Sirsa-Ludesar-Bhadar road in District Sirsa. This is an important project that will improve connectivity and transportation in the area. Overall, the decisions taken in the meeting indicate that the committee is committed to improving the state’s infrastructure and services.
