ICC imposed ban on captain Harman for two matches

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has imposed a two-match ban on Indian women’s cricket team captain Harmanpreet Kaur due to her behavior during the last ODI against Bangladesh. The ICC has found her guilty of breaching two codes of conduct.
During the third ODI against Bangladesh, in the 34th over, Harmanpreet hit the wicket with her bat in anger after an umpire’s decision. As a result, she was fined 75% of her fees and was given three demerit points. Additionally, Harmanpreet publicly criticized the umpire, which is also a breach of the ICC’s code of conduct.
The ICC’s decision to impose a two-match ban on Harmanpreet sends a strong message that such behavior will not be tolerated in cricket. It is essential for players to maintain their composure and respect the umpire’s decision, even if they disagree with it.
