London | The former chief of the Indian Premier League, Lalit Modi (59), has threatened to sue Rahul Gandhi, a leader of the Indian National Congress, in a UK court over his recent remark about Modi’s surname. Lalit took to social media to express his frustration, stating, “I see almost every Tom, Dick, and Gandhi’s colleagues repeatedly claiming that I am a fugitive. But why? How? When was I accused of this? I have decided to take legal action against Rahul Gandhi in a UK court. I am confident that he will not be able to provide any concrete evidence to support his claims. I look forward to seeing him become a complete joke.”
