Realme has announced the release of Android 14-based Realme UI 5.0, which brings new features and enhanced security and privacy measures. To provide users with a clear roadmap, Realme has published the Realme UI 5.0 Early Access Roadmap, which lists all the compatible devices that will receive the update in the coming months.
The Realme GT 2 Pro was the first device to receive the Realme UI 5.0 early access last month, and it will now be joined by the Realme GT Neo 3/Neo 3 150W. In the following month, the Realme 11 Pro series will gain access to the new UI skin.

Realme UI 5.0 brings several new features and improvements. In terms of security and privacy, it enhances photo and video-related permission management to ensure safer access by apps. Performance optimization includes improvements in system stability, app launch speed, and animation smoothness. The system also introduces more apps that support APP Cloner and expands the list of APP Cloner.
Design-wise, Realme UI 5.0 offers a natural, gentle, and clearer color style for a more comfortable visual experience. It adds new ringtones and revamps system notification sounds. System animations have also been improved to provide even smoother transitions.
However, it’s important to note that the Early Access Build of Realme UI 5.0 may have some issues. For example, users may encounter difficulties sliding the desktop when using floating windows, but this can be fixed by pulling down the status bar. Additionally, the Glance Lock-screen function is not available in the early access version but will be included in future updates.
Overall, Realme UI 5.0 brings a range of new features and improvements to enhance the user experience, while the Early Access Roadmap provides Realme users with a clear timeline for when they can expect the update on their devices.
