Chandigarh | Now, in case of traffic violation, the information about deduction of challan will be received only through SMS, challan will not be sent at home. The traffic police has issued instructions in this regard on Thursday. According to the police, an alert will be sent only on the registered mobile number of the vehicle for the challans issued on the basis of information received from CCTV camera, speed radar gun, handycam device or social media. Earlier, apart from SMS, the challan was also posted on the registered address of the vehicle owner, which has been discontinued from June 1.
