
Former Punjab Deputy CM Omprakash Soni, who was arrested in a disproportionate assets case, appeared in court on Wednesday via video conferencing from a private hospital after completing a two-day remand. A medical board has been formed, and orders have been given to conduct Soni’s complete medical checkup on Thursday and submit its report. SSP Vigilance Varinder Singh Sandhu has confirmed this development. Soni was arrested by Vigilance from Chandigarh on Sunday in connection with the case.
