Punjab: Dhillon sent to judicial custody after remand

Delhi has sent Kuldeep Singh of Faridkot to judicial custody for 14 days in connection with the property case against you. Vigilance Mail Ferozepur had arrested Dhillon 8 days ago. He was presented twice in Faridkot court, where he was sent on police remand for first 5 days and later for 2 days. Dhillon’s lawyer Satinder Singh said that another day’s remand was sought from the Vigilance side. The Vigilance Department could not present concrete evidence in the court, on which the court sent Dhillon to judicial custody rejecting the demand for further police remand. On the other hand, Congress leader Gurshwinder Singh said that if Dhillon is not granted bail by the Faridkot court, he will approach the High Court for bail.
