Ludhiana | In the case of Gyaspura gas tragedy, compensation checks of Rs 2 lakh each were handed over to 3 more families affected by the incident. MLA Rajinderpal Kaur Chhina said that the Punjab government stands with the people in every difficulty. MLA Chhina said that the previous governments used to promise compensation to the people, but they were not even fulfilled. Now there is a government of Aam Aadmi Party in the state, which does what it says, but does not break the trust. He said that the family of the doctor who lost his life in the Gyaspura gas leak case has already been given a check of Rs 10 lakh as compensation by the government to his mother. The loss of the victim’s families cannot be compensated, but we will continue to provide all possible help to the families when needed.
