Two youths have been arrested by the Dhakoli police in Zirakpur for carrying illegal weapons. The police received a tip-off that the two youths were roaming in the Dhakoli area with illegal weapons. Acting on this information, the police searched the two youths who were travelling in a Chandigarh number Endeavor car and recovered a revolver from them.
The accused have been identified as Prabhjot Singh from Habdi district Kaithal, Haryana and Manjinder Singh from Balahi village in Kurukshetra district. During patrolling near the MS Enclave gate, the police received information about the two youths and immediately swung into action. The police searched the youths riding in the Endeavor car and recovered a point 32 bore revolver along with 13 cartridges. SHO Sukhbir Singh has confirmed the arrest and seizure of the illegal weapon.
