Under the leadership of Neeraj Chopra, a 28-member team will participate in World Athletics

The Indian sports ministry has announced a 28-member squad for the upcoming World Athletics Championships in Budapest, Hungary. The highlight of the team is javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra, who recently made history by winning the gold medal at the Tokyo Olympics. Neeraj had previously secured a silver medal in the World Athletics Championships, and he will be looking to add another accolade to his name.
However, it was also revealed that shot put player Tajinderpal Singh will not be able to participate in the tournament due to an injury. Tajinderpal’s absence will be felt, as he has been a consistent performer for the Indian team in shot put events.

Neeraj Chopra’s presence in the squad brings a lot of excitement and expectations, given his recent Olympic triumph. Indian fans will be eagerly watching his performance and hoping for another stellar showing from the young javelin thrower.
