Opening batsman Yashasvi Jaiswal was included as India’s stand-by player in the World Test Championship final. He left for England on Sunday with captain Rohit Sharma. Yashasvi was included as a stand-by player in place of Rituraj Gaikwad. Rituraj will be unavailable for the World Test Championship final due to his marriage. Rituraj is getting married on June 3. He had informed the BCCI that he could not be present for practice in London before June 5. So Yashasvi, who already had a visa for England, was included in the team.
